Registered Children's Nurse – 6-Month Block Booking | Gloucestershire
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Children's Nurse (RCN) with surgical experience to join the Paediatric Day Unit (PDU) on a 6-month block booking supporting services across both the Gloucester and Cheltenham sites.
Role Details
- Contract: 6-month block booking
- Hours: 34.5 hours per week
- Preferred Shift Pattern: Three long days (07:00–19:30)
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- No weekends or bank holidays
- Location: Gloucester & Cheltenham Paediatric Day Units
We are also happy to consider candidates who are available for two days per week if three days is not feasible.
The following experience is required:
- Surgical experience
- Experience in medical investigations
- Venepunture and cannulation would be highly desirable
Rates
- Days Approx. £21 per hour, dependent on experience & client approval
- Nights/Sat Approx. £28 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
- Sundays/bank holidays Approx. £34 Per Hour Dependant on experience & client approval
